Students, residents, and various stakeholders from across Kitui County gathered at Jubilee College Kitui on Friday, March 6, 2026, for an insightful public lecture focusing on the Foundations of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital skills essential for success in the 21st century.

The event, held at the college premises in Kitui town, brought together learners and the members of the public interested in understanding how emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence are shaping the future of education, employment, and innovation across the globe.

The keynote address was delivered by a distinguished guest from the London School of Digital Business in England, who highlighted the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in modern society. He noted that AI is rapidly reshaping industries and urged students and professionals to embrace digital literacy and technological skills to remain competitive in the global job market.

He encouraged young people and professionals to equip themselves with digital competencies such as data literacy, digital communication, critical thinking, and AI awareness in order to remain competitive in the rapidly evolving global economy.

Speaking during the lecture, Jubilee College Principal Mr. Hillary Musyoka said the institution organized the public forum to help bridge the digital knowledge gap and expose the local community to emerging technologies that are shaping the modern world.
