Hon. Nzilu Nzioka Demands Answers over Disappearance of Muasya Judah at Yatta B2 Ranch, Threatens massive Demonstrations
Kyangwithya West Ward MCA and Deputy Speaker Hon. Christopher Nzilu Nzioka has strongly condemned the disappearance of a middle-aged man, Muasya Judah, from Sokomoko area who has not been seen for more than a week after an attack by unknown assailants at the Yatta B2 Ranch.
According to reports, Muasya Judah and several other men had gone to work at the ranch with the knowledge and approval of the police before the unfortunate incident occurred. However, during their stay at the ranch, they were reportedly attacked by unknown individuals, after which Muasya Judah disappeared and has not been traced since.
Speaking when he met the family and residents of Sokomoko, Hon. Nzilu Nzioka expressed deep frustration with the Kitui County security leadership, particularly the County Police Commander, for what he termed as lack of urgency in efforts to locate the missing man.
Hon. Nzilu Nzioka also raised concerns over the difficulties the family encountered while attempting to report the disappearance at Kanyoonyoo Police Station. According to him, police officers at the station were initially reluctant to record the report in the Occurrence Book (OB), raising suspicion of a possible foul play. “When these men went to work at B2 Ranch, the police were aware of their presence there. However, they failed to provide security, and up to now nothing meaningful has been done to ensure that we find our son,” said Hon. Nzilu.

He further revealed that some of the workers were allegedly informed by police that criminal gangs operate within the ranch and are suspected of killing people and secretly burying them there. “If the police know there are assailants who kill our people and bury them in the ranch, why has no action been taken to deal with them?” he posed.

He threatened to organize mass demonstrations to demand justice and immediate intervention from the government. “I want to put them on notice. If one week elapses without any progress in finding our son, we will organize massive demonstrations. If necessary, we will even escalate the matter to President William Ruto,” he declared.
Residents and relatives who spoke during the meeting expressed concern and deep frustration over the disappearance of Muasya Judah, urging the government and security agencies to intensify investigations and ensure he is found.
