Dr. Isaac Malonza Leads Wiper Grassroots Training as Party Intensifies 2027 Election Preparations in Kitui

Kitui South Wiper Patriotic Front Chairman Dr. Isaac Malonza on Thursday led a strategic training session bringing together chairpersons and executive committee members from Wiper Patriotic Front branches across Kitui County as the party intensified grassroots preparations for the 2027 General Election.
The meeting, held at a hotel in Kitui Town, focused on strengthening the party’s structures at the grassroots, enhancing membership recruitment, and developing mobilization strategies aimed at positioning Wiper for success in the next polls.

Addressing participants during the training, Dr. Malonza emphasized the importance of a united and well-organized party, noting that strong grassroots structures would be key to increasing Wiper’s influence across Kitui County and the wider Ukambani region.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Dr. Malonza said the training formed part of ongoing efforts to consolidate support for Wiper Party leader Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka ahead of his expected 2027 presidential bid.

He said the party is focused on expanding its membership base, empowering branch leadership, and ensuring every constituency, ward and polling station has active structures capable of mobilizing supporters and delivering electoral victories for Wiper candidates. “The strength of any political party lies in its grassroots structures. We are equipping our leaders with the necessary skills to mobilize members, strengthen the party, and ensure Wiper remains the dominant political force in Kitui and the entire Ukambani region,” Dr. Malonza said.

The training also explored strategies for increasing voter registration, recruiting new party members, and enhancing coordination among branch officials to ensure effective grassroots engagement ahead of the elections.

Dr. Malonza, who serves as the Wiper Patriotic Front Chairman for Kitui South, has been actively spearheading initiatives aimed at revitalizing and strengthening the party across the county in preparation for the 2027 polls.

He further urged residents of Kitui County and the wider Ukambani region, who have not yet registered as voters, to take advantage of the voter registration exercise once announced by the electoral commission.

According to Dr. Malonza, a high voter turnout and increased registration will be crucial in rallying support for Dr. Kalonzo Musyoka’s presidential bid and ensuring Wiper secures more elective seats across the Ukambani region.
The meeting brought together branch chairpersons, Wiper Special Programmes Facilitator Charles Lemein, Wiper Patriotic Front Kitui Coordinator Waziri Bakari, alongside other party leaders and grassroots officials committed to strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 General Election.
