Hon. Dr. Irene Kasalu Receives Heroic Welcome as She Stood With Bereaved Families in Kyuso Ward, Mwingi North

Today Kitui super Woman Representative, Hon. Dr. Irene Kasalu, received a heroic welcome when joined residents of Kyuso Ward, Mwingi North Constituency, to mourn and comfort bereaved families during the burial ceremony of the late Samson Mwasya Maundu that drew hundreds of community members.
Hon. Kasalu stood in solidarity with the family, friends, and community as they laid to rest the late Samson Mwasya, father to her office staff member, Mr. Phillip Mwasya at Kyandani Village in Kyuso Ward. She eulogized him as “a man of discipline, humility, and dedication who lived a fulfilling life and left behind a legacy of love and values that will forever guide his family and those who knew him.”



Later, she joined the family of the late Joseph Munuve Munyithya at Ngemini Village, also in Kyuso Ward. Hon. Irene Kasalu hailed Mzee Munuve, who lived for over 100 years, as “a pillar of resilience, wisdom, and faith whose long life was a true blessing and a source of inspiration to his family and the entire community.”

The Kitui County 2027 Gubernatorial aspirant has once again demonstrated her continued commitment in standing with the people of Kitui both in joyful and sorrowful moments, affirming her dedication to community service.
