22-Year-Old Aisha Kioko Appeals to Well-Wishers for Help to Return to School and Pursue Her Dreams

A 22-year-old woman from Kalundu in Kitui Township has appealed to the government, leaders, and well-wishers to support her efforts to return to school and continue her education.
Speaking to Ukambani News Hub, Aisha Kioko said she was forced to drop out of school while in Class 7 due to her family’s poor financial background. She explained that her education was cut short following the death of her father in 2017, which left her elderly mother unable to afford school fees and support her schooling.
Aisha said the loss of her father placed the family in a difficult position, making it impossible for her to continue with her studies despite her strong desire to learn and build a better future.
Despite the challenges, Aisha remains determined to build a better future for herself and her family. She expressed a strong passion for beauty, hairdressing, and fashion design, and hopes to enroll in a college where she can acquire the necessary skills that will enable her to become self-reliant. “I’m appealing to the government, leaders and well-wishers to come to my rescue and support me so that I can join college and pursue my passion in beauty, hairdressing, and fashion design,” she said.
Aisha also revealed that she is a mother to a young baby girl who depends entirely on her. She said the responsibility of caring for her child and her elderly mother without education or skills has made life even more challenging, especially without a reliable source of income.

She believes that if given the opportunity to return to school and gain professional skills, she will be able to support her child, improve her family’s living conditions, and become self-reliant.
She expressed hope that her appeal will reach leaders, government agencies, and well-wishers who can help her return to school and pursue her dreams, saying education would enable her to improve her life and support her family.
Aisha now hopes that her appeal will reach compassionate leaders, government agencies, and well-wishers who can help her return to school and pursue her dreams, saying education would enable her to improve her life and support her family.
