The initiative aims to cushion students and their families against financial hardships that often disrupt access to education with others even forced to drop out of school.

According to a circular seen by Ukambani News Hub, the bursary application process will be conducted through a 6-day public participation exercise beginning on Monday, January 19, 2026.
