Kitui South Incoming MP Hon. Gladys Mami Kivoto today joined Wiper Party Leader H.E. Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka and other United Opposition leaders during the ongoing Meet the People Tour in Kitui County.
The tour, which attracted huge crowds across several trading centres, kicked off at Katutu Town in Kitui West Constituency, where residents turned out in large numbers to welcome the opposition leaders and express support for Dr. Kalonzo Musyoka’s 2027 presidential bid.

The opposition delegation, led by Dr. Kalonzo Musyoka alongside former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, former Attorney General Justin Muturi, DAP-K Party Leader Eugene Wamalwa and other leaders, used the rallies to criticize President William Ruto’s administration, accusing it of burdening Kenyans with high taxes, the rising cost of living and economic hardships.

CPA Mami Kivoto is viewed as a formidable contender in the Kitui south MP seat, citing her growing popularity among grassroots supporters, women groups and youth networks.
