Mulango Ward MCA Aspirant Hon. Dennis Syengo Surprises Wife with a New Car, Gifts Mother-in-Law a Furnished House During Dowry Ceremony

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Mulango Ward 2027 MCA aspirant Hon. Dennis Syengo Wambua hosted a vibrant and memorable dowry payment ceremony in Kalama, Machakos County. The event took an emotional turn when Hon. Dennis Syengo surprised his wife Mrs. Lilian Ngina, with a brand-new Nissan Note and gifted his mother-in-law, Ngina Ndaka, a fully furnished, self-contained two-bedroom house. The double surprise left the crowd in awe, with many praising the gestures as symbols of love, respect, and commitment to family values.

Speaking during the event, Hon. Dennis Syengo Wambua reflected on his journey with Lilian, recounting how they first met when he had almost nothing; no money, no house, just a student struggling to make ends meet. With Lilian’s hope and the little salary from her first job at Kirathimo Chemist in Thika Town, the young couple managed to rent a single room, where they began life together with only a small mattress. Step by step, they built their lives, never giving up on each other.

“From starting life on a tiny mattress to now being able to bless my wife and her mother in this way, it has been a journey of sacrifice, love, and faith. This car and the house are symbols of appreciation to Lilian and her family for standing with me all the way,” Hon. Dennis said.

The event attracted over 1,500 people, including renowned gospel artists, professional engineers from Thika and Nairobi, and close friends who travelled from Thika, Mombasa, Nairobi, and different parts of Kenya to share in the celebration. Their presence not only added glamour to the day but also underscored the wide network of friends and colleagues who continue to support him.

As Hon. Dennis Syengo Wambua now gears up for the 2027 Mulango Ward MCA elections, this grand gesture of love, generosity, and respect has further strengthened his public image as a family-oriented leader who values tradition, culture, and community unity.
