Jubilee College Principal Mr. Hillary Musyoka Wins Dean of the Year Award 2025 in London, UK

Jubilee College chief Principal, Mr. Hillary Musyoka, has been named the Dean of the Year 2025 at an international ceremony held in London, United Kingdom. The award recognizes his outstanding leadership and contribution to education, as well as the remarkable progress Jubilee College has made under his stewardship.
Speaking to the press at his office in Kitui town, Mr. Musyoka expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, noting that it was a testament to the collective efforts of both staff and students. “This award is not just my win it is Jubilee College’s win. It reflects the hard work we are putting in as an institution to deliver quality education and equip our students with skills that prepare them for the future,” he said.
Mr. Hillary Musyoka revealed that the recognition will also open doors for students at Jubilee College. “Through this award, our students will now have opportunities to secure scholarships and further their studies abroad. This is a proud moment for the entire Jubilee College community,” he added.

Jubilee College was founded in September 2013 and is a TVETA-accredited private college based in Kitui town. Since its establishment, the institution has been dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable, and industry-relevant education to learners from diverse backgrounds.

Mr. Hillary Musyoka also used the opportunity to encourage parents and students who did not secure university placements to consider technical and vocational training. “I want to appeal to students who completed KCPE and KCSE but did not qualify for university entry TVET institutions are the future. At Jubilee College, we guarantee practical, market-ready skills that will empower young people to succeed in life,” he stated.

Looking ahead, the award-winning principal emphasized the importance of digital transformation in line with Kenya’s Vision 2030. “The world is moving fully into digitalization, and at Jubilee College, we have made digital learning and digital skills a priority. This commitment has also contributed to my winning this award,” he explained.
However, he cautioned young people to use technology responsibly. “I urge our youth to use digital platforms constructively not for cyberbullying or insulting leaders but as tools to create opportunities and earn a living,” Mr. Musyoka warned.
The principal further extended an invitation to the public to attend the upcoming Jubilee Lecture, scheduled for Friday, October 3rd, at the Jubilee College premises in Kitui town from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. “The lecture will bring people together to reflect on how we can create employment opportunities within Kitui County. Every participant will receive a certificate of participation,” he announced.

With the global recognition under his belt, Mr. Hillary Musyoka continues to position Jubilee College as a centre of academic excellence and a pillar of opportunity for learners across Kitui and Kenya at large.
